General

Is Reports a chat assistant? No. There is no chat anywhere in Reports. You set the options and it generates the report.

How is Reports different from the existing report tool? Reports opens from the location you are viewing, tailors the report to a use case and industry, writes a fuller Detailed report, runs in the background, and lets you preview and refine before you download. See Legacy reports for the tool it replaces.

Do I have access? Enterprise plans include Reports. On a Standard plan, ask your Customer Success Manager.

Using Reports

Why can't I choose a radius when I start from a city? A city has no center point to draw a radius from. A radius always sits inside a city, so from a radius you can move up to the city, but not the other way.

Why is the report button disabled? Reports is not available at the hex level. Zoom out to a radius or city view.

Why is there no city option for this place? We do not have a boundary map for every city. Where there is none, city-level statistics are not available, so only the radius option is offered.

Do I need to choose an industry? Only for a site assessment, and only when the report supports decisions about your own operations. See Report settings.

Why did my threat types change? They reset when you change the use case or industry. Reports warns you before it applies the change.

Why is my report short? Usually because few or no threat types are selected, or because there is little data for the location. The report states which.

Why do some sections appear when I have turned off threat types? Terrorism, Emerging Events, and Threat Actors do not depend on threat types, so they always appear.

Can I run several reports at once? Yes, up to three at a time.

Can I leave while a report is generating? Yes. Move around the platform or log out. You will be notified when it is ready.

Can I preview an old report? No, past-session reports can be downloaded but not previewed.
